Free Accommodation
The Ministry of Migration and Asylum will immediately provide you with accommodation and food in its accommodation facilities.
Short-term accommodation is available upon your arrival in the Accommodation Facility of Sintiki in Serres, Northern Greece.
If you would like to be provided with long-term accommodation, please fill in the form at https://migration.gov.gr/accomodation-ukraine
Long-term accommodation is provided either in the Accommodation Facilities of Serres (Northern Greece), or in Elefsina (South Greece) immediately.
Renting a place in Greece
In case you would like to rent a place to stay, first you will have to obtain your VAT and Social Security Number, and to have your VAT certificate issued. For more information on the VAT certificate issuance process, please visit the relevant section.
HELIOS PROJECT
The International Organisation of Migration (IOM), in collaboration with the Ministry of Migration and Asylum, is currently implementing the HELIOS Project, which offers accommodation support, Greek language courses, as well as employability support to international/temporary protection beneficiaries.
